Donnie Ray Coyle

Funeral services for Donnie Ray Coyle, 64, of Skiatook, were held Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Reverend Andy Anquoe officiated. Casket bearers were Tommy Thomas, Ryan Smith, Billy Coyle, Michael Coyle, Pat Coyle and Larry Steele.

Donnie was born July 24, 1951 in Claremore, OK to Joseph Earl and Elsie (Tiger) Coyle. He passed away October 16, 2015 in Tulsa, OK.

Donnie worked for the Tulsa World alongside his brother Ronnie, delivering newspapers until his retirement due to health issues. He was married once, but never had children. Donnie had many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews that made up for not having any children of his own. He loved to talk to friends and family and could talk for hours. Donnie also enjoyed the fellowship he had with the residents at the West Oak Apartments where he lived until his passing.

He is survived by his sisters, Gayla Steele and husband Larry of Sperry, and Ann (Coyle) Harjo and husband Tim; brothers, Paul Coyle and wife Ann of Sperry, Pat Coyle and wife Cynthia of Sperry, Randy Coyle of Miami, OK, Billy Coyle and wife Fanci of Aledo, TX, and Bobby Coyle of Sperry; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Elsie Coyle; brother, Ronnie Coyle; great-niece, Emma (Coyle) Cullison; and great-nephew, Cash (Coyle) Cullison.
