Donald was born November 2, 1936, in Paris, AR, to Charles Jasper Reamy and Daisy Bell (Hardgrave) Hicks. He passed away May 30, 2023, in Tulsa, OK.

In his younger days, Donald owned a motorcycle that held a special place in his heart. It was a source of immense pride for him. Accompanied by Margo, he would embark on journeys to Ada, visiting their loved ones. The family eagerly anticipated their arrival and were so happy to see them. Among his relatives, Donald's cherished moniker was Elvis, as his sister Joan affectionately claimed he bore a striking resemblance to the iconic musician during his younger years. However, as time passed, Donald's appearance gradually changed, leading him to resemble the legendary Willie Nelson. Donald found great solace and contentment at the racetrack at Remington Park and considered it home. As a skilled farrier by profession, he possessed extensive knowledge of various bloodlines. Raising and overseeing the racing endeavors of approximately 15-20 horses brought him great satisfaction. Additionally, Donald derived pleasure from the realm of cockfighting. While residing near the track in Louisiana, where his horses were kept, Donald acquired a fighting rooster. Sandra and Bob Bowman thoroughly enjoyed engaging in games of pitch with Donald. Nevertheless, he occasionally struggled to maintain good sportsmanship in defeat. When it came to culinary delights, Donald held a special affinity for establishments such as Cracker Barrel and Rib Crib, but nothing could compare to the delectable dishes prepared by Charlotte. Donald and Chris found great joy in singing karaoke together, creating countless unforgettable memories. They shared a common admiration for the renowned artist Gene Watson, whose songs resonated deeply with them. Above all, his love for his family surpassed all other passions.

He is survived by his sons, Shelton Clay Reamy, Curtis Carl Reamy and Robert Lee Reamy; grandchildren, Ruby Gail Reamy, Aaron Michael Reamy, Jentri Taylor Reamy, Johnny Thulin, Jr., Brent Reamy, and Ashley Reamy; 10 great-grandchildren; five sisters; four brothers; a host of nieces and newphes, and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Kay Thulin; son, Jimmy Justis Reamy; parents, Charles and Daisy Reamy; seven sisters; and five brothers.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
