Diana Jane (Mortimer) Everett

Diana Jane (Mortimer) Everett of Skiatook, OK, passed away on August 26, 2026, in Skiatook, at the age of 80. She was born May 2, 1946, in Spokane, WA, to George Arthur Mortimer, Jr. and Joyce Imogene (Largent) Allen.

Diana was a dedicated professional who spent 45 proud years working in the oil and gas industry. She devoted the last 26 years of her career to Samson Resources and Samson Energy. Through her hard work and expertise, she ultimately retired in 2015 as a Senior Land Technician. Diana took immense pride in her work and left a lasting impression through the dedication she brought to her career.

In retirement, Diana loved spending time outdoors. She found true joy in fishing on the pond, exploring new places through her travels, and playing endless games of fetch with her beloved golden retriever, Kodi. Whether creating memories on a grand new adventure or enjoying a quiet day in nature, Diana deeply appreciated the beauty of the outdoors and cherished every moment spent making memories along the way.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Everett; her sons, David "Kelly" Everett, and Sean Everett and his wife, Rachel Kern; her stepson, Gregory Everett and his wife, Shannon; and her brother, James Mortimer. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Daisy Everett and Silas Everett, as well as many other extended relatives and dear friends.
