Delynda “Dee” (Glassco) McCulley, 61, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Dee was born October 1, 1964, to Bruce Glassco and Judy (Leist) Wilkes. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend whose strength, resilience, and determination carried her through many challenges throughout her life.
Those who knew Dee will remember her spirited personality, playful sense of humor and deep love for her family. As a young girl she loved sitting in front of the stereo, rocking to the beat of the music. She especially enjoyed teasing her sister, Lisa and Aunt Deanna (who is more like a sister) about playing with Barbies and freezing their bras. What seemed like ordinary moments at the time became some of the family’s most cherished memories. As she grew older, Dee enjoyed attending rodeos and dragging main in Skiatook with Lisa and Deanna creating memories that would be treasured for a lifetime. She shared a special bond with her best friend, Mary Juby, whose friendship meant so much to her over the years. You couldn’t ask for a better friend than Mary. Dee had a special place in her heart for animals, especially dogs. She deeply loved her faithful companion Sophie who brought her comfort, joy and unconditional love.
Although Dee never had children of her own, she poured her love into her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her loving mother, Judy Wilkes; her sisters, Lisa Prock and brother-in-law, Darrin, and Donna Royce and brother-in-law, Jack; nephews, Brandon Phillips, Chris Phillips, Dustin Prock and wife, Amanda, and Jack Royce and wife, Zoe; nieces, Haylee Stanley and husband, Chad, Rachel, Rickie and Jacqueline; and 19 great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her biological father, Bruce Glassco; her dad, Walter Wilkes; her brother, Bruce Glassco II; her brother, Stephen Glassco; paternal grandparents, Earl and Lula Glassco; and maternal grandparents, Warren and Twyla Dickey and Butch Leist.
Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort and knowing that her struggles have ended, and that she is now at peace. Her laughter, her mischievous spirit, her love of music, animals, family, friends, and the countless memories she created will remain forever in our hearts. Thank you to all who cared for her.
