Funeral services for Daniel Lee “Danny” Dowling, Sr., 61, of Owasso, OK, were held Friday, September 12, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church in Sperry, OK. Pastor Zach Klassen officiated, and burial was in Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket bearers were Daniel Lee Dowling, Jr., Steve Hacker, Brandon Dowling, Seth Jackson, Corey Jackson, Nick Dowling, James Dowling, Sr., Charles Dowling, Patrick Dowling, and Stephen Smith.
Danny was born November 4, 1963, in Tulsa, OK, to William Edward Dowling, Sr. and Patricia Ann (Pittman) Dowling. He passed away on September 5, 2025, in Owasso, OK.
After high school, Danny married Tina Holt, and together they had two children, Daniel and Amber. He later married Connie Jackson, and they were blessed with two more children, Laura and Brandon. Danny was an operator and shift foreman at Meadow Gold Dairy for a long time before he was injured and no longer able to work. He loved spending time outdoors whether it was camping, fishing, and/or deer hunting. He was a master at Ping Pong, loved Yahtzee, and just started playing pickle ball. Most of all, Danny loved spending time with family and friends, no matter what the occasion.
He is survived by his children, Laura Jackson and husband, Corey; Brandon Dowling and wife, Breanna; Daniel Dowling, Jr.; and Amber Hacker and husband, Steve; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, James Dowling, Sr. and wife, Robin, Charles Dowling and wife, Helen, and Patrick Dowling and wife, Ruby; sister-in-law, Charleen Dowling; cousin (who was more like a brother), Nick Dowling and wife, Carrie; Amanda Willis; and his former wife, Connie Jackson, who remained his closest companion and the love of his life; as well as many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents, William and Patricia Dowling; and brother, William Edward Dowling, Jr.
