Funeral services for Cynthia Marilou Maker, 72, of Hominy, OK, were held Friday, August 29, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK.

Cynthia was born February 14, 1953, in Tulsa, OK, to Jay Moles and Joyce Jeanette (Thomas) Moles. She passed away August 25, 2025, in Hominy, OK.

Cynthia lived a life full of both laughter and love and found joy in simple routines that made her smile. She enjoyed traveling and never passed up a good cup of coffee to start her day. She and her best friend, Teresa, enjoyed keeping up with the latest bookings/happenings in Osage County. Teresa was her partner in countless games and adventures, and together they created years of cherished memories More than anything, Cynthia treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, reading books, and going to various horse races. Whether she was curled up with a good book or cheering on the excitement at the horse races, Cynthia embraced life with curiosity, humor, and heart.

She is survived by her son, Norman Parks and wife, Becky, daughters, Laura Weaver and Jamie Maker; granddaughters, Austen McCloud, Megan Mays and husband, Chakota, Savanna Drummond, Paige Parks, Dareain Weaver, Mia Parks, and Jasie Hamilton; grandsons, Korbin Parks, Jase Parks, and Bryan Kidder; great granddaughter, Teelynn; great-grandsons, Cayden, Jahlahx, Jerrix, Josiah, Jesse, and Ayson; brother, Cole Pinkerton and wife, Dawn; sister, Kay Woods; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Maker; daughter, Amy Hayes; great-granddaughter, Ayla Weaver; father, Weepy J. Moles; mother, Joyce Moles; and brother, David Martin.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
