Cody Lane Teel

Funeral services for Cody Lane Teel, 24, of Tulsa, OK, were held Friday, December 19, 2025, at Unity Fellowship Church in Skiatook, OK. Reverend Bryan Turner and Brother Tony Harper officiated, and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Johnn Preslar, Kris Bryant, Mathew Preslar, Jeremy Aeschliman, Justin Teel and Wade Whicker.

Cody was born March 3, 2001, in Tulsa, OK, to Larry Allen Teel and Margie Alisa (Cole) Teel. He passed away on December 15, 2025, in Tulsa, OK.

Cody worked in the commercial construction industry, where he took pride in clearing land and operating heavy equipment, including track hoes, backhoes, and dozers. He had a great love for the outdoors and was happiest when he was fishing, hunting, or simply taking a drive with his little dogs by his side. Cody also cherished the time he spent working alongside his dad, running big equipment and learning by his side. His strong work ethic, adventurous spirit, and love for simple moments will be forever remembered.

He is survived by his parents, Larry and Margie Teel; sister, Cheyenne Teel; brothers, Johnn Preslar, and Mathew Preslar; cousin, Tammy Pollock; a host of aunts, uncles, and other cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Carolyn Teel; maternal grandparents, Jake and Margaret Cole; and cousin, Jimmy Teel.
