Clyde Ernest Woods

Graveside memorial services for Clyde Ernest Woods, 71 of Skiatook, OK were held Friday, July 07, 2017 at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, OK. Mr. Phillip Johnson officiated.

Clyde was born September 15, 1945 in Tulsa, OK to Roy Olan and Bessie Ann (Hillard) Woods. He passed away June 29, 2017 in Tulsa, OK.

Clyde was a cross-country truck driver for C&H Dump Trucking. Clyde had a bad accident in his dump truck; and you could say it “scared him straight.” He turned his life around for the better. Clyde was married a four times, to Lanna, Sharon, Nelda and Dianne. He was an Elvis Presley fan, and enjoyed watching NASCAR races and The Voice, going to the lake, fishing, traveling and attending church. He was a man of faith and liked to watch and listen to Jimmy Swaggart.

He is survived by his daughter, Tonya Hall of Owasso; daughter-in-law, Nesha; grandchildren, Colton Henderson of Owasso, Caden Hall of Owasso, Landon Hall of Owasso, Titus Tiger of Owasso, and Andrew Aaron; brothers, Bobby Woods, Henry Woods and wife Linda of Skiatook, Bob Woods and Billy Woods; sister, Pat Garrison; 11 nieces on the Woods side; 11 nephews; step-children, Sherral, Saundra and Jennifer; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Presley Coulson; and parents, Roy and Bessie Woods; brothers, Charles Woods and Ronnie Woods; and sisters, Irene Barnes, Gerrie Hill, and Sue Deerinwater.
