Funeral services for Clifford Wayne Enloe, 82, of Skiatook, were held Saturday, June 18, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Skiatook, OK. Reverend Susan Whitley officiated and burial was in Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket bearers were Mickey Hunt, Randy Gosney, Rick Mattison, Damon Vincent, Butch Casey and Adam Hunt. Honorary casket bearers were Ken Park, Doc Lowe, Stew Stewart, Stan Keller and Drew Wilson.
Wayne was born January 20, 1934 in Avant, OK to John and Gertrude Olive (Jackson) Enloe. He passed away June 14, 2016 in Owasso, OK.
Wayne went to school in Avant. He quit school and went to work at an early age. Wayne worked as a Roustabout for several companies and in August 1952, he went to work for W.C. McBride Oil Company and worked there until they were bought out by K.W.B. Oil Property Management in July 1979. Wayne married Jenny Leona Perry May 14, 1955 in Tulsa, OK. They had two children, Perry Dale and Robert Wayne “Bob” Enloe. He was transferred to Oilton and worked there for six years while living in Oilton and Mannford. In 1972, he was sent back to Avant as a lease manager until he retired in 1985, and moved to Skiatook, where he bought land and mineral and built his home. After several tragedies and lots of sickness Wayne passed away at the age of 82.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny Enloe of Skiatook; son, Bob Enloe and wife Diana of Avant; grandchildren, Dee Enloe of Keni, AK and Derek Enloe and wife Taylor of Yukon; great-granddaughter Kambry of Yukon; step-grandchildren, Damon Vincent and wife Lisa and Jeff Vincent; step-great-grandson, Aidan Vincent; numerous cousins, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Dessie Saultz, Tressie Enloe, Greta Enloe, Bonnie Enloe, Dortha Hunt, Leora Davis and Audra Ervin; and brother, Millard Enloe.
