Cindy Carol (McGee) Holmes, 68, of Sperry, OK, born on October 1, 1957, in El Monte, CA, lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and deep devotion to her faith and family.

She passed away on January 21, 2026, in Sperry, OK, surrounded by many loved ones in her home.

A lifelong believer in Christ, Cindy found spiritual nourishment and community through regular attendance at Tulsa Family Church. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life and was reflected in the compassion and selflessness she extended to others. Even during times when she had little to give, Cindy gave freely offering her time, love, and support to those around her. Cindy's warmth and joyful spirit were most evident in the time she spent with her family. She especially cherished moments with her grandchildren, delighting in their laughter and play. Her home was often filled with the sounds of joy and creativity as she shared her love for arts and crafts with those closest to her. She also enjoyed simple pleasures that brought color to her days—visiting local casinos for a bit of fun and adventure or exploring estate sales alongside her husband Donnie. These outings were not just hobbies but opportunities for connection and shared memories. In her younger years, Cindy worked at her family's gas station, a place where she developed a strong work ethic and a sense of community. During this time, she embraced the freedom of the open road on motorcycles, reveled in driving her Ford Mustang, and found joy in attending concerts that spoke to the spirit of the era. Cindy’s legacy is one of love freely given and memories deeply cherished. Her presence touched many lives through both quiet acts of kindness and joyful expressions of living fully. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Donnie Holmes Sr. of Sperry; children, Fred Holmes of Sperry, Keith Holmes of Sperry, Michael Holmes and wife, Jennifer of Sperry, and Donald Holmes, Jr. and wife, Andrea of Skiatook; nine grandchildren, Izabella and Jaxson Holmes along with their mother Keri Criswell of Catoosa; Emma-Lee, Madalyn, and Michael Holmes, Jr., all of Sperry; Talan, Logan, and Zachary Holmes of Skiatook; great-grandchildren, Fred Holmes, Jr. of Sperry, and Oliver Knox-Lee Holmes of Broken Bow; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Darold and Mary McGee of Tulsa; siblings, Danny McGee, Gary McGee, Melody Constantino of Tulsa, Robin Speer of Tyler, TX; and one brother-in-law, John Holmes, Sr. of Sperry.
