Christopher Raymond "Chris" Mohl

Christopher Raymond "Chris" Mohl, born on March 30, 1985, in Torrance, CA, passed away on July 15, 2026, in Tulsa, OK. Chris was the beloved son of Terie Lynn (Moody) Mohl and the late Duane Earl Mohl.

His deep affection and devotion to his family were always evident, and family gatherings held a special place in his heart. Chris’s warmth and generosity created an environment where loved ones could come together to enjoy meals and each other’s company. A man of many talents, Chris had a passion for life’s simple pleasures. He was an avid fisherman, and found peace and excitement casting a line into the water. Bowling and playing pool were other favorite interests, and he could often be found enjoying a good game with friends and family. Chris was also a lover of computer games, which brought him countless hours of fun and connection. In the kitchen, his skills were obvious, and those around him were delighted by his flavorful and creative cooking. Chris’s kindness, humor, and enthusiasm will be remembered and missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love for his family was unwavering, and his presence added a special warmth to any gathering. Chris leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. The joy he brought into the world will continue to shine through and live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Terie Mohl; his sister, Stephanie Lieb, and her husband, Brandon; grandmothers, Carolyn Lopez and Donna Ismert; aunt, Amy McDaniel; uncles Jon Moody, Court McDaniel, and William Puckett; cousins Toni, Kailah, Nathan, Aiden, Raymond, and Abigail; nephews, Elijah, Joseph, Thomas, and Christian; and niece Ava; and many other relatives and friends. Each one of them held a unique and treasured relationship with Chris, and he found great joy in spending time with each family member.

He was preceded in death by his father, Duane Mohl; his brother, Gregory Mohl, grandfathers, Ray Mohl and Donald Moody; grandmother, Bonnie Mohl; and uncles, Ray Moody, Steven Frost, and Tom Mohl. The memories he created and shared with them remain as a testament to the bonds of family.
