Charles Dewayne Hatley

Memorial services for Charles Dewayne Hatley, 65, of Skiatook, OK, were held Monday, January 5, 2026, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Melvin Graves officiated.

Charles was born June 3, 1960, in Muskogee, OK, to Richard DeWayne Hatley and Bessie Perlene (Scheulen) Hatley. He passed away on December 28, 2025, in Skiatook, OK.

Charles was a skilled aircraft mechanic who began his career with American Airlines in 1996 and was a proud member of Local Union #514 in Tulsa. He had a lifelong love of sports, with a special devotion to the OU Sooners. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a longtime fan of Dale Earnhardt. At the heart of who he was, Charles was devoted to his family and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was truly one of a kind—a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Though he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, his family finds comfort in knowing he is now reunited with his daughter and other loved ones in heaven.

Charles is survived by wife, Ronda Hatley; daughters, Ashley Hatley, and Candace Hatley and husband, Marcus; grandchildren, Hunter Hatley and Zoe Hatley; sister, Debbie Brammer; nieces, Amanda McBee and her family, Amber Russell and her family, as well as other nieces and nephews; friends, Ted, and Terry Staires; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Chelsea Hatley; parents, Richard and Bessie Hatley; and niece, Malana Brammer.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
