Cecil James Blevins, Jr. was born March 5, 1939, in Oglesby, OK, to Cecil James Blevins, Sr. and Nealie Marie (Trammel) Bain. He passed away November 16, 2022, in Catoosa, OK.

He was known by some as Jim and some as Cecil. He was a veteran of the US Navy and was also a cook during his service. He loved cooking and always talked about natural foods and various ways to get healthy. Cecil enjoyed fishing, living in a camper, and traveling a lot, and raising goats. In his younger days, Cecil loved going to church, reading his Bible, and preaching. His main topic was about prayer. He always talked about praying for his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Daniel James Blevins and wife, Glena of Broken Arrow, Samuel Dean Blevins and wife, Jennifer of Mannford; Deborah Ann Robison of Tulsa, Hope Alice Lee and husband, Shawn of Salisbury, IN and Faith Ann Blevins and Josh of New Albany, IN; grandchildren, Misty and Ryan, Heather and Jamie, Brittany and Jason, Leah and Vincent, Aaron and Jody, Andrea, Heather and Matt, Amber and Shawn, Elizabeth and Manuel, Brittany and Michael, Samantha and DJ, Dean, Kaysie and Oscar, Katrina, Jamie and Oz, Jeremy, and Joshua and Adam; 32 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Blevins; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Blevins, Sr.; mother, Nealie Bain; brother, Dale Blevins; sister, Barbara Marie (Blevins) Sellers; and uncle, Jess Trammel and wife, Lou.

A family arranged memorial service will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Lily of The Valley House of Prayer at 6808 S Elwood Ave, Tulsa, OK 74132.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
