Brenda Joyce (Geiger) Hale

Graveside services for Brenda Joyce (Geiger) Hale, 67, of Sperry, OK, were held Friday, September 1, 2023, at Calvary Cemetery in Tulsa, OK. Father Joe Townsend officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were all of Brenda’s family.

Brenda was born December 1, 1955, in Tulsa, OK, to Lloyd Peter Geiger and Bette Joyce (Smith) Geiger and was raised in the Tulsa area. She passed away August 30, 2023, in Sperry, OK.

She was a devoted mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. When she wasn’t spending time with them, Brenda would be tending to her home and working out in the garden.

She is survived by her children, Joseph Stanley Hale, Jr. and wife, Brittani, Donna Joyce Ryter, and Rebecca Ann Mashburn and husband, Darren; grandchildren, Joshua Moore, Ryan Moore, Erika Ryter, Lia Ryter, Ricky Scott, Ethan Hale, Allison Hale, Luke Hale, and Layne Hale; siblings, Cynthia Jones and husband, Rick of Ramona, Becky Shirley of Stillwater, Susan Geiger of Lenapah, Julie White and husband, Bruce, of Sapulpa, Sharon Longaberger and husband, Mark of Catoosa, Karen Vinson and husband, Bob of Ramona, Michael Geiger and wife, Diane; and  Steve Geiger and wife, Jody of Jenks; aunt, Betty Brown of Tulsa; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Stanley Hale; daughter, Susan Diana Scott; parents, Lloyd and Bette Geiger; and brother, Gregory Lloyd Geiger.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
