Funeral services for Brenda Kay (Coyle) Ficklin, 69, of Sperry, OK, were held Monday, October 4, 2021, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Reverend David King officiated, and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Austin Skaggs, Bronson Roberts, Sergio Angon, Steve Stephens, Vern Smith, and John Entz. Honorary Casket bearers were Reggie Harper, Michael Rose, William Broam, Dale Coyle, Craig Skaggs, Edward Ficklin, Jacob Ficklin, River Angon, John McKown, Hank Webb, Sam Haynes and Bubba Ficklin.
Brenda was born November 20, 1951, in Tulsa, OK, to Johnnie Franklin and Betty Jo (Stephens) Coyle. She passed away September 29, 2021, in Tulsa, OK.
Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved spoiling her grandchildren and watching her grandson play baseball. Brenda loved working on arts and crafts, gardening, cooking, baking, going to eat catfish, playing cards on Saturday nights, going shopping, and traveling, she especially loved the mountains.
She is survived by her husband, Lenny L. Ficklin; daughters, Jennifer Broam and husband, William of Sand Springs, and Amanda Ficklin and husband, Reggie Harper of Tulsa; grandchildren, Maddie Harper and Jacob Ficklin and girlfriend, Korena Aills; sisters, Lisa Rose and Michelle Skaggs; brother, Dale Coyle; nieces and nephews, Nicole and Sergio Angon, Austin and Lacey Skaggs, Michael Rose, Carrie Ficklin, Ed Ficklin and Chastity Coyle; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Betty Coyle; and grandparents, John and Edith Stephens and Fred and Pearl Coyle.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
