Betty Jo Crain

Betty Jo (Cooney) Crain was born October 9, 1950, in Marquette, MI, to Frank and Lillian Thelma (Bradley) Cooney. She passed away July 3, 2021, in Sapulpa, OK.

Betty worked for Sapulpa Public Schools for 14 years as one of the lunch ladies. She enjoyed watching old western movies and crime shows, working on crossword puzzles, going to the casino, and spending time with her neighbors out on the boat and fishing.

She is survived by her children, Joe Crain and wife, Katrina, Vicki Crain, and Kimberly Crain; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Margo Wooldridge; brothers, Richard Cooney and Frank Cooney, Jr.; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Joe Crain; mother, Lillian Cooney; and father, Frank Cooney.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
