Anita Gail (Hughs) Bellieu

Anita Gail “NeeNee” (Hughs) Bellieu passed away peacefully in her home on July 18, 2026, at the age of 66. She was born on May 11, 1960, in Claremore, OK to Wayne Hughs and Kathleen “Kathy” (Washington) Hughs.

Anita was the oldest of her three siblings, Teresa, Harold and Otis. They grew up moving around a lot because of their dad, Wayne, working in the oil field. Some of the places they lived in were Owasso, Sperry, Burns Flat, Louisiana, and Texas. It was known to all the siblings that Anita was Grandma and Grandpa Hughs’ favorite, and it was said that she was spoiled rotten by the two, always getting her way. In Anita’s younger years, she worked at the fairgrounds, working concession stands at various concerts and boxcar races. She blamed her bad hearing on all these concerts and races. Mom went to barbering school in 1978, where she met her first husband and was married in 1979. Together they had three children, Joshua Wayne, Jordan Keith, and Jacob Daniel. Anita and Bill Tom met in 1989, where he pursued her relentlessly before Mom finally gave in. On April 27, 1995, she married William Thomas “Bill Tom” Bellieu, Jr.; they started their family in Pawhuska and later moved to Hominy. Together they had three children, Charles Lewis, Laci Jane Maria, and Serenity Kimberly Jo. Finally settling their life together in Ralston. Anita dedicated her life to raising her children and her grandchildren. In 2015, Anita and Bill Tom took in two of their grandchildren, Levi and Hunter. Anita gave her everything into raising those boys and loving them beyond measure. She loved going to Levi’s sporting events and loved Hunter’s artistic abilities with drawing and music. Anita enjoyed cooking for her family and having dinners together. Anita worked several jobs over the years, but her main job was being a stay-at-home wife and mom, and she dedicated her life to loving her family.

She was met in heaven by her son, Jacob Daniel Rhinehart; her parents, Wayne and Kathleen Hughs; and her brother, Harold Hughs.

Anita is survived by her husband, William Thomas Bellieu, Jr. of Ralston; her five children, Joshua Rhinehart and wife, Kat of Houston, TX, Jordan Rhinehart and wife, Rachel of Overland Park, KS, Charles Bellieu and spouse, Kim of Cleveland, Laci Bellieu and spouse, Joshua of Hominy, and Serenity Bellieu and fiancé, Racheal of Nelagoney; and bonus daughter, Amanda Fisher and fiancé Cody of Sand Springs; her grandchildren, Jayden Rhinehart, Zaylan Rhinehart, London Rhinehart, Hunter Stevens, Hunter Rhinehart, Levi Rhinehart, Nolan Nick, Noah Neighbors, and Carson Bellieu; She is also survived by her brother, Otis Hughs of Guymon; sister, Teresa Hughs of Hominy; sister-in-law, Kay Hughs; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Anita were held Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK with Chiefy Tiger officiating. Burial was in Charley Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Otis Hughs, Hunter Stevens, Ronnie Gilley, Dakota Hughs, Lee Mitts, Reb Prock, Kaleb Park and Clay Hughs. Honorary casket bearers were Hunter Rhinehart, Levi Rhinehart, Nolan Nick, Noah Neighbors, Carson Bellieu and Zaylan Rhinehart.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
