Funeral services for Angela Sue “Angie” (Caviness) Spears, 63, of Sperry, OK, were held Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Bethel Baptist Church in Owasso, OK. Deacon Jean Wolf and Deacon Jay Ide officiated, and burial was in Ramona Cemetery in Ramona, OK. Casket bearers were Katie Wehmeyer, Doug Wehmeyer, Gary King, Bo King, Dustin Pittsley, Carl Lowe, Carla Fishback, Kenny Woodworth, and Shawn O’Dell.
Angie was born September 13, 1962, in Bartlesville, OK, to Chester Golden Caviness and Patricia Ann (Smith) Walls. She passed away February 10, 2026, in Tulsa, OK.
Angie worked for many years as a database designer with MetLife, where she dedicated her talents and strong work ethic to her profession.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who took immense pride in caring for and supporting her family. Angie had a deep love for live music and enjoyed attending festivals, spending time with friends, and expressing her creativity through candle making, beadwork, and woodworking—especially refinishing furniture. Above all, Angie cherished time with her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends. Those moments together meant more to her than anything else, and they will remain treasured memories for all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Ty Spears; sons, Jeffrey Spears and spouse, Stephanie, Tyler Spears and partner, Ryan, and Dustin Spears and partner, Staci; brother, David Caviness; grandchildren, Trynatie, Toby, Dewayne, Dalton, Kinsley, Hunter, and Casey; sister, Brenda Gilbert; half-sisters, Heather Leichti, and Kimberly Hargett; 18 nieces and nephews; 15 great-nieces and nephews; father and mother-in-law, James and Dixie Spears; her two cherished dogs, Lucy and Koda; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Caviness and wife, Glenna, and Patricia Walls and husband, John; siblings, Sherry Barnes, Diane Santspree, Barry Caviness, Mark Caviness and Evan Caviness; and sister-in-law, Stacy (Spears) Javernick, and brother-in-law, Tanner Spears.
