Funeral services for Allen Wayne “Bo” Green, 49, of Tulsa, OK, were held Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Reverend David Shatwell officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Lee Brooks, Brandon Dowling, James Dowling, Sr., Steven Gregory, Corey Jackson, and Patrick Dowling. Honorary casket bearer was Danny Dowling.
Bo was born March 25, 1966 in Tulsa, OK to Joe Franklin and Patty Ann (Weathers) Green. He passed away October 9, 2015 in Tulsa, OK after battling many health issues.
Bo worked for KVOO, Kleinco, and Stokley Sign Company. He also worked for his dad’s gauge company and he was a journeyman plumber for 15 years. He loved to go fishing and hunting when he was able and he enjoyed building things with wood. Bo loved teaching his son, Lee, how to drive everything he owned, including a track hoe. He also deeply loved all of his animals. Bo was loved by many and will be missed by all.
He is survived by wife, Terry Green of the home; son, Lee Brooks of Tulsa; sisters, Christy Thomason and husband, Todd, of Skiatook, Tammy Miller of Sperry; sister-in-law, Lee Ann Green of Turley; aunt, Wilma Fournier of Catoosa; niece, Ashlee Silva and husband, Nate, of Skiatook; nephews, Nick Green and wife, Lacie, of Broken Arrow, and Travis Stephens; great-nieces, Rylie Silva, and Brynlie Silva of Skiatook; great-nephew, Gavin Green of Broken Arrow; his white German Shepard, Izzy Bear; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Green; mother, Patty Green; brother, Steve Green; paternal grandparents, C.O. and Anna Green; maternal grandparents, Pearl and Lucille Weathers; and cousin, Larry Weathers.
