Edgar Walden was born Date in Eureka Springs, AR to William Elijah and Elizabeth (Hawkins) Walden. He passed away January 28, 2018.

Ed was a World War II Veteran and loved telling stories about his time in the Philippines and New Guinea. Ed worked at a saw mill in Eureka Springs as a machinist and was a foreman of a Sawmill in Utah in 1953-1954. Ed made a miniature sawmill that worked and he submitted it to the Tulsa Fair a few years ago, winning an honorable mention. He owned a machine shop with his son-in-law, Randy for nine years. Ed then worked on a machine at his home until he had a heart attack. He was a member of the Tenth and Rockford Church of Christ in Tulsa. He loved playing his guitar, singing and going bowling up until his shoulder gave out on him when he was ninety.

He is survived by his children, Judy Stephens of Tulsa, Gary Walden of Tulsa, and Roberta Noonkester and husband Randy of Collinsville, Kenny Walden of IL, and Stephen Walden of TX; daughter-in-law, Diana Walden of Catoosa; 12 grandkids; 24 great-grandkids; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eilene Walden; son, David Walden; daughter, Pam Walden; and parents, William and Elizabeth Walden.
